We Decided From March 1st Any uploaders Can Post 60 Topics Perday . We Need to Change a setting after 60 Posts Users Cant Post anything . they need to wait 24hrs Again.

Because of Server Load and Huge amount of Dead Links We need Restrict for Auto posters .
Its Not Final decision . If you Have any Other Option Then Can Tell here.

60 Posts Perday Its Very Good for Restrict . thousands of Unnecessary Post Everyday Again and Again. So better restrict them .

I also do agree with you that something has to be done to deter autoposters,

I believe that if we limit "autoposters" to 60 posts/day,, they are going to fulfill their quota in about 7hs assuming/recommending that the current posting gap should be maintained (7hs x 60min = 420 min / 7 minutes posting gap = 60 posts) and then they would disappear from the forum for 24hs. Though this is a sensible proposal, I believe that it would play against the benefit of the forum because it will create an imbalance in the time of posting (posts are not regularly distributed during the day). Thus the server charge would be adversely affected if the posting gap is removed and only a maximum number of post is established. Additionally, many dupe accounts will be created to circumvent this new rule.

In view of the above, I would rather propose to only increase the posting gap to one post every 20 minutes (1200 secs) which is equivalent to 72 posts/day (24hs x 60min = 1440 min / 20min gap = 72 posts/day). This would be easily achieved by configuring the Board posting settings.

Bear in mind that autoposters only have to leave their applications to work regardles of the rule we may seek to establish to limit the number of unnecessary posts.

i Thought 60 Post perday Limit mean , uploaders Can Post 60 Posts any time . But When his 60 Posts Done he can Post after 24 Hrs Again .
and your Calculation is 20Min Gap. That would be fine also . But This limit only for Autoposters . Normal Members also Survive 20Min gap. So no one interested Reply Thank in topics.

Hello Surojit,

The current setting to limit one post every 400 secs allows any member to post their thanks without being impared to do so. I have just tested it with an account created by me and you don't have to wait to post any sort of reply. The limit is only applicable to those members which the Staff consider as autoposters if their posting permissions are set up to never overrule such limit.

FYI all autoposters have been identified by me and I have adjusted their posting-message permissions/activities accordingly.

If you would like to limit autoposters to a maximum of 60 posts per day, then the current posting gap should be established in 1440 secs in the Board posting settings (60 sec/min x 60min/h = 3600 secs/h x 24hs/day = 86400 secs/day). Then if we divide 86400 secs/day by the new posting gap of 1440 secs we obtain 60 post/day. Based on this formula we can finally determine the limit which we may agree upon.
